EVERTON RESOURCES Appoints New CFO

Ottawa, Ontario - Everton Resources Inc. ( TSX-V: EVR, Frankfurt: ERV) (" Everton" or the “ Company”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Khadija Abounaim to the position of Chief Financial Officer of Everton Resources, effective November 3rd, 2008. Ms. Abounaim has been the Company’s Controller for over 4 years and previously held the position of Senior Financial Auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers International. Her experience also includes management positions at several companies in Canada and abroad including the Public Service Alliance of Canada. Khadija holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Diplôme national d’expertise comptable.

The appointment follows the departure of Mr. Marc Carbonneau, as CFO of the Company, to pursue other opportunities. "Mr. Carbonneau has contributed significantly to our Company over the past four years. On behalf of the Board, as well as personally, I want to thank Marc for his many contributions and wish him continued success in his future endeavours," stated Andre Audet, Chairman & CEO of Everton Resources.

In other news, Everton also announces that effective October 8th, 2008, the Company has granted a total of 1,000,000 stock options to Directors, Officers and employees. Each stock option entitles the holder to subscribe for one common share of the Company at a price of $0.10 per share for a five year period and vests over an 18-month period.
