EVERTON BEGINS MOBILIZING A CAMP ON ITS PROPERTIES IN THE ELEONORE GOLD DISCOVERY AREA AND INCREASED ITS LAND POSITION
Everton Resources Inc. has begun mobilizing a camp on the Opinaca Property located north and adjacent to the Virginia’s Eleonore property, in James Bay, Quebec. This camp will serve as the base camp for the summer 2005 field campaign on the 4 blocks of the Azimut Exploration option Opinaca Project and the 7 blocks of the Wildcat Project, 100% owned by Everton.
The summer 2005 program will consist mainly in reconnaissance mapping with a strong emphasis on rock, boulder, till and lake-bottom sediment sampling. By its intensive prospecting program, Everton will focus at defining the source of the lake-bottom sediments anomalies present on the different blocks. A total exploration budget of $700,000 is planned in this sector for summer 2005, of which $500,000 will be spent on the Opinaca Project, covering 285 km2, and the rest on the 303 km2 Wildcat Project. Field work will be performed by the consultant firm IOS Services Géoscientifiques Inc., from Chicoutimi, Quebec.
Everton has also increased its land position in the James Bay region by map-staking a total of 1,128 claims covering approximately 575 km2. The claims are clustered in different blocks located between the Eastmain River, to the south, and the LG-3 Reservoir, to the north. The different blocks cover clusters of anomalous elements related to gold mineralization from lake-bottom sediments samples.
Marc L’Heureux, P. Geo., Vice President Exploration of Everton will act as the “NI 43-101 Qualified Person” for this project.
