EVERTON AND LINEAR GOLD BEGIN DRILL PROGRAM ON LOMA EL MATE PROJECT, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
Everton Resources Inc. (EVR – TSX-V) and Linear Gold Corp. (LRR – TSX) are pleased to announce the beginning of a drill program on the Loma el Mate property located approximately 4 kilometres southeast of the Pueblo Viejo deposit, in the Dominican Republic.
The 500-600-metre drill program is being undertaken on the Loma el Mate property to test a wide corridor of significantly increased bedrock chargeability over 500 metres in strike. The IP resistivity/chargeability pseudo-sections suggest the presence of significant metallic sulphide mineralization, in the bedrock, at depths of less than 100 meters, where the strongest chargeability measurements were obtained. First results should be received in a month.
Concurrently, reconnaissance and sampling are continuing on other sectors of the Property in order to delineate additional gold and base metal targets.
Marc L’Heureux, P. Geo., Vice President Exploration of Everton will act as the “NI 43-101 Qualified Person” for this project.
