EVERTON BEGINS EXPLORATION PROGRAM AT LA MIREYA
DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
Everton Resources Inc. (TSX-V: EVR) is pleased to announce the commencement of the exploration program on its 100%-owned La Mireya concession, located in the eastern part of the Dominican Republic. Stream sediment sampling carried out in the concession area by the European Union SYSMIN program in 2003-2004 yielded a number of samples with anomalous gold grading up to 1,440 ppb. Six other gold anomalous stream samples ranging from 244 ppb gold to 662 ppb gold are distributed on each side of the mountain range crosscutting the concession. These are some of the highest gold in stream sediment samples ever recorded in the resource-rich Dominican Republic.
The 118.5 km2 La Mireya concession is located in the Eastern Cordillera of the Dominican Republic. The area is mostly underlain by a Cretaceous volcanic-sedimentary sequence of calc-alkaline affinity, predominantly composed of basic to intermediate andesites, derived clastic rocks, and intrusive rocks. The concession includes a portion of the southeastern extension of a regional NW-SE shear zone structure that is known to host porphyry Cu-Au type mineralization in strongly argilically altered volcanic rocks. For a map showing the location and the stream sediment geochemistry of the La Mireya Concession, please visit the Properties Section at www.evertonresources.com.
This highly prospective area remains relatively under-explored and Everton Resources intends to complete a more detailed stream geochemistry survey starting in the first week of December to confirm and better define the anomalies indicated in the SYSMIN program and to incorporate more detailed mapping.
The sampling program will consist of approximately 150 samples or about 1.25 samples per square kilometer. The samples will be collected sieving on site and shipped airfreight to Laboratoires Expert in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec. The samples will be analyzed for gold by Fire Assay/AA finish and for base and trace metals by ICP scan.

Everton Resources is actively exploring in the Opinaca region of James Bay, Quebec where Everton Resources has amassed one of the largest land claims adjacent to the Eleonore gold discovery, and where Goldcorp Inc. (NYSE:GG, TSX:G) is proposing to spend several hundreds of millions of dollars developing its recent property acquisition. Everton Resources is also actively drilling in the Dominican Republic adjacent to where the world’s largest gold mining company, Barrick Gold (NYSE/TSX:ABX), is partnering with Goldcorp to develop the 15 million ounce Pueblo Viejo gold deposit, one of the world’s largest undeveloped gold deposits, at an estimated cost of $1.4 billion.
