EVERTON BEGINS EXPLORATION WORK ON THE JOBO CLARO CONCESSION, AND APPOINTS A MANAGER FOR THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

Everton Resources Inc. (TSXV:EVR) is pleased to announce the beginning of the first phase of exploration work on the 53km2 Jobo Claro Concession, located 1.5 km east of the Pueblo Viejo Gold Mine, in the Dominican Republic.
The exploration program will consist of a general reconnaissance mapping, rock sampling and systematic stream sediment survey covering the whole concession. Also, airborne geophysics data and satellite imagery are currently being analysed in preparation for the work program.
The Jobo Claro Concession is covered by the volcanic and sedimentary rocks of the Los Ranchos formation, the same geology that hosts the Pueblo Viejo Mine, where Placer Dome announced the approval for the development and production of 12 million ounces of gold (Press release September 27th, 2005).
This first phase of the program should be completed by the end of December. Once results are received, a second phase of detailed work will begin in early January.
Everton is also pleased to announce the appointment of Hugo Dominguez as Exploration Manager for the Dominican Republic. Mr. Dominguez has more than 24 years of experience in mining exploration in Mexico, the Caribbean, Central and South America from various mining companies. He holds a Master’s Degree in Economic Geology from George Washington University, in Washington, DC.
