GlobeStar and Everton announce drill results on Dona Loretta copper porphyry discovery in the Dominican Republic
Toronto 12th August 2004 -- GlobeStar Mining Corporation (TSXV.GMI)and Everton Resources Inc. (TSXV.EVR) are pleased to announce the results from a further 8 holes in their newly discovered Dona Loretta copper porphyry system in the Dominican Republic. Holes CC-09 to CC-16 are all within the porphyry system, where the copper mineralization is concentrated in the brecciated sections of the deposit. (see press release of 16th July 2004).

The results confirm the discovery of the porphyry system and its copper content in breccia pipes particularly in the southern portion, of the 3.5 km by 800 metre anomaly. The current drilling is testing anomalies from a shallow Induced Polarization (IP) program to a vertical distance of around 100 metres below surface. Porphyry systems are typically mineralized to considerable depths. The Dona Loretta system remains open in all directions and at depth.
The partners will be drilling the Los Hojanchos target within the next two weeks. The 8 hole program will test a high sulphidation copper gold target, 10 km SE of Placer Dome’s giant Pueblo Viejo high sulphidation gold mine.
