Everton Elects New Board Member

Everton Resources Inc. (EVR.TSXV) is pleased to announce the election of Mr. Ron Little to its board of directors at its recent annual and special meeting April 30, 2003.

Mr. Little is a Professional Engineer and the founder, President and CEO of Orezone Resources Inc.  He has more than fifteen years of experience at senior levels in mining exploration, mine development and mine operations. Most of this experience was gained with Major Canadian mining companies and included several international projects in Africa and South America. Mr. Little has grown Orezone Resources into a leading junior gold explorer, through very difficult market conditions and gained the support of large institutions and Corporations.

“We are very pleased to add Mr. Little’s experience and track record to our Board of Directors,” Says Dwane Brosseau, President of Everton Resources Inc. “Mr. Little is an explorer as well as a mine operator with a wealth of expertise that will assist Everton in advancing its gold projects in the Dominican Republic.”

Everton is focused on testing targets that have similar early-stage characteristics as the 17 million ounce Pueblo Viejo Gold Deposit in the Dominican Republic.  This deposit type exhibits specific surface signatures and Everton believes that many of these characteristics can be found on its Trinidad concession located near Pueblo Viejo.  Over the next few months, Everton will complete surface trenching programs prior to drill testing many of its targets.

Everton Resources Inc. is a gold exploration company focused on large deposit type targets in the Dominican Republic.

The Company also announces that Dan Cummins is no longer on the board of directors and that he will remain as a consultant. The Company would like to thank Mr.Cummins for his contributions over the years.
